. Pasta and other random musings .

I cooked up some pasta last night cos i had some capsicums, tomato sauce n angel hair. Ground cumin seeds and surprisingly, oyster sauce, makes pasta sauce much tastier... added kick. I had a bit of bacon and some sausages n I fried that with onions n garlic and then all the veggies n stuff and stewed it in the sauce with some extra herbs n crap but for some reason it still needed a lift so I added the cumin seeds and it was nicer but something else was missing... so just for fun.. I added oyster sauce.. and it's surprisingly much better. Haha

On another note... My first paper tmr and I'm soo NOT prepared!

And now that everyone's going off/home I'm missing home quite a bit. Bugger.
Oh and Laura won't be joining us on our road trip anymore cos she and her boyfriend's family are going off to Vancouver on a ski trip. Sigh. It would've been fun... I guess we're gonna have to carry on without her.

Brendan (from Mass Comm) and I were plannin on driving up to Sydney and then Brisbane and if we've still got energy, well, as far as possible round Aus. End of the year.

Then, maybe we can time it such that it'll be just in time for my family to come over and we can go to Tasmania! Ooh! Exciting! :D

God I miss you guys at home... Only thing I'm grateful for is that our weather's SO much better than yours. HAHA
