Wrong ingredient. Baking powder and baking soda are NOT the same thing. Baking soda tastes DISGUSTING. Remember to check!
Also don't be over enthusiastic about beating.
Attempt 2
Experience helps make things go quicker.
So does a fair amount of alcohol.
Also makes for less but sillier pictures.
Also we got lazy so we didn't line the bake ware so half the cake fell out and half got stuck.
Oh well.
It tasted awesome though.
And the birthday girl loved it.
And we had fun.
And that's all that matters.
